COPPA Notice to Parents

District Zero
Direct Parental Notice Regarding Collection of Children’s’ Information

District Zero is a wellness-first learning system to resolve classroom burnout. “Learners” such as students or mentees complete check-ins on our platform so that “Leaders,” such as teachers or team leads, can better understand their Learners’ wellness journey.

Because Learners of all ages can sign up and use District Zero’s services, District Zero may collect information that may be used to identify children under thirteen (13) (“Personal Information”) through the platform.  Accordingly, pursuant to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), District Zero provides this notice to tell you that we endeavor to obtain prior verifiable parental consent prior to the knowing collection of Personal Information from children under the age of 13 who sign up to use our platform. The purpose of this Notice is to give parents and legal guardians additional information about District Zero’s practices regarding collecting and using the Personal Information of children under 13 years of age. District Zero will not collect Personal Information about your child without your consent.

For purposes of this Notice, “child” or “children” means a child or children under 13 years of age, and “you” or “your” means a parent or legal guardian authorized to consent to District Zero’s collection of Personal Information for the children listed on this form.

You are receiving this Notice because you indicated in your registration materials that there are children under the age of 13 who have signed up for an account. If that is not the case, please contact us by emailing support@districtzero.co or by calling +1-872-395-3526 so that we may update our records.
